Pierpaolo Piccioli debut solo career in Valentino

Pierpaolo Piccioli launches Valentino’s first campaign after the departure of Maria Grazia, who at a time acted as its Creative Head Duo as well with Piccioli.

There is no doubt that the streestyle is an inspiration for luxury brands such as Valentiino. Pierpaolo Piccioli has just released his first solo campaign as the creative director of Valentino as an ode to New York street culture – for years he shared the post with Maria Grazia Chiuri, who recently took a gig at Dior. The fashions film stars Rockstud Spike Bag, born of a new partnership with the renowned photographer Terry Richardson.

“Together we explore the southern streets of Manhattan in New York, picking random people who could use the bag in the film, we made a casting on the streets. The idea was to portray people with unique style. We wanted to show the uniqueness of ‘Humans of NY’ and highlight the personality of each to make clear how much diversity is important, “said Paolo.

The new it-bag can now be purchased in stores at David Jones and online stores as well. There is also a new RED- Valentino store opening in coming weeks at Chadstone Shopping Centre, Melbourne.
