When did you realize you want to pursue a career in the modeling industry?

It was around the time that I was in middle school. My friends and I would run
around my small, hometown of Running Springs, California. We would dress up and have photo shoots on my old MacBook. Yes, I said MacBook. I think everyone in my town thought I was crazy!

What was the biggest rookie mistake you made when just starting out?

It would probably have to be showing up to various shoots with colorful underwear on. It took me a while to get the memo that you’re supposed to show up with nude underwear every single time.

What is one piece of advice you would give to someone about to begin a career in modeling?

Be your most unique and raw self. The more relatable you are, the more people tend to pay attention. We are always surrounded by so-called “perfection” in ads, movies & social media. Showing that you’re an actual person who sometimes has flaws too is refreshing and most of all inspiring. People want to see more of that.

What would you say are some vital skills or characteristics to have to make it in the modeling world?

I would say to let loose and be nice! Every job or casting is so much better when you’re relaxed and confident in yourself. By doing that, you’ll be a joy to be around on set and clients will definitely want to hire you back!

What is one of your favorite parts of modeling?

I love having the opportunity to create an idea and bring it to life with imagery. It’s constantly rewarding.

Have you had any moments in your career that have felt particularly meaningful to you?

I think when I finally found my team. I had always gone from agency to agency, but never felt completely full. Finally, about five years ago, I found my management that I still have now! I’m extremely grateful to have them in my life. I’d do anything for them and I know they’d do the same for me. That moment holds a special place in my heart.

Besides modeling, you love to travel and go on various types of adventures. What is the next destination where are you traveling to?

I’m actually going to Egypt in December to attend the first-ever Dior fashion show in front of the pyramids. I’m really looking forward to that trip!

What are your goals for the coming years?

I just hope to constantly evolve and become a better version of myself every year. I don’t like to think far ahead, I much prefer living in the moment and trying to master each individual day one at a time.
